Fidak Farms has developed a first-of-its-kind farm valuation system under which a comprehensive tool has been developed to gauge the yield potential of field crops and orchards being cultivated on a parcel of land.
The holistic analysis offered to the landowner/farmer includes an assessment of the nature of soil, evaluation of water and irrigation sources, health check of any existing plants, required floor management and pest management plans in keeping with the type of agricultural use the land is being put to, etc.
Advisory
Fidak Farms offers advisory services to farmers and landowners seeking to establish their agricultural systems along commercially viable, nationally and internationally recognized best practices. After consultation with the landowner our team of experts develops a customized implementation plan that would detail a step by step process for bringing the landowner’s vision to fruition.
Management
For landowners and farmers wishing to hand over management to Fidak Farms, yet retain supervisory influence over the decision-making process, Fidak Farms offers a unique arrangement.
Retainer: For a management fee, a landowner can hand over management of the land to Fidak Farms while retaining control over day to day management. The landowner approves all costs to be incurred as well as all cultivation protocols. All investments and costs are the responsibility of the landowner.
Profit Share: The retainer may be waived in cases where the client agrees to a profit-sharing arrangement with the company. In such cases, the profits generated from the agricultural activities are divided in keeping with pre-determined shares.
Lease with investment
Fidak Farms acquires the land on lease and pays a fixed rent to the landowner. Determinants of the rate of rent payable to the landowner include:
a) Existing market rates
b) Level of investment required to make land profitable
c) Whether or not the landowner has a specific vision requiring a customized implementation plan for the land.
