Fidak Farms is a private sector company set up to conduct farm management operations based on modern farming methods and innovative techniques, grounded in the cutting edge research being carried out by the various agricultural research institutes in the country as well as internationally.

making economic activity thereby maximizing the productivity of farmland for landowners and farmers.

We believe that in the absence of large scale dissemination of agricultural research has impeded growth and productivity in the agricultural sector resulting in the evident decline in productivity

Farmers have traditionally survived on subsistence production with very few undertaking experiments to reduce risks of any kind. This has, inter alia impeded export oriented farming in the country., many, in the last three decades have experimented export crops with occasional success and many failures. With farmers at the centre of its corporate focus, Fidak Farms aims to introduce these marginalized enterprises as essential players in a globalized market.

Women living in the rural areas have been essential to the farming activities being conducted. However, their roles have been limited to low-paying seasonal jobs mostly at the time of harvest. Fidak Farms aims to engage women as skilled, agricultural professionals earning decent livelihoods and attaining job satisfaction due to professional development.

Digital integration of agricultural systems from cultivation to marketing will open knowledge management avenues and introduce efficient controls and enhanced communication

Improved linkage between the farm and market not merely in terms of providing physical access to the cultivator but ensuring farm planning processes are aligned with market demands and account for the marketability of commodities.

Fidak Farms aims to advocate for and promote agricultural zoning to prevent non-farming uses of viable farmlands and will support government initiatives for introducing agricultural zones in keeping with the kind of crops suited to a region.
